This Weekend: Easter Sunday
Join Us for Worship… The empty tomb. Grief is a healthy response to Jesus’ death and a valid way to enter worship on Easter morning. And yet, early on the first day of the week when Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and is given hope amidst her mourning. And then she ran. She ran to tell the others in the midst of her grief and possible hope. Grieving doesn’t have to make us hopeless. Hope can compel us to take action when we are deep in grief. May the good news of this story be that no matter how you arrive this Easter morning—whether you are steeped in grief, stunned in disbelief, or running in the direction of hope—resurrection is for you. This story is for you. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed, Alleluia!

The Call Committee met on April 16th and reviewed the survey responses from church leaders to complete the Ministry Site Characteristics portion of the MSP. The plan is to meet again on April 24 and review the Congregation Survey responses. Please continue to pray for the Call Committee. A NOTE FROM PASTOR CHARISSE…
As we enter Holy Week, my heart is full of gratitude for each of you. You belong—to one another, to this sacred place, and to God. You’ve filled this season with joy, courage, and faith.
As I prepare for my next steps and say goodbye, there is an emptiness in leaving, but also a deep joy in all we’ve shared. Thank you for your kind words, the cakes, the flowers, and the beautiful crystal mantle clock. Most of all, thank you for embracing this interim time with open hearts and brave spirits. It has been a true honor to walk with you and serve as your pastor. I look forward to hearing all the good things to come from Trinity.
