What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is when kids really get to connect with their Pastor and their faith. By design, this program is a little more rigorous. It focuses on Luther's Small Catechism and strives to fulfill promises like: knowing the Creed, the Lord's Prayer, and the Ten Commandments, and striving for justice and peace in all the world.
These were promises made when the students were baptized, which is why Confirmation ends with an Affirmation of Baptism that takes place on Pentecost, when Christians all around the world celebrate the birth of the church.
