SUNDAY SCHOOL BAKE SALE - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th - The Trinity Sunday School Bake Sale is happening in the auditorium, this Sunday, September 28, before and after our 10:30 AM service. We'll have lots of baked goods for sale — cookies, brownies, and more! Popcorn will be available for purchase too. Please come out and support our Trinity kids as all proceeds go toward our Sunday School programs. If you have any questions, please call/text Amy Enderle (708-790-5024).
FUN FALL FUNDRAISER - Support the ministry of Trinity by joining us in the Gathering Place this Sunday, September 28 before and after worship to purchase tickets for a chance to win an amazing gift basket! Tickets will be available at 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. The drawing for the winners will be on October 5 after worship, and you do not have to be present to win. FALL RUMMAGE SALE CANCELED - We are sorry to report that Trinity Lutheran Church will not be having a fall 2025 rummage sale. Our next rummage sale will be in the spring of 2026. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope to see you in the spring!
DIVINE DOLLARS – Just a reminder that our Divine Dollars gift card program will be ending on 12/31/25. We are selling all cards currently in our inventory. Some of the cards still available are from the following retailers: AMC, Shell, PetSmart and Cheesecake Factory…just to name a few. All proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund. Grab an order form from the Gathering Desk or from the "More for Announcements" attachment …complete it and place in the mailbox by the office, along with payment (cash or check). Your order will be filled by the following weekend. First come. First served, while supplies last. Grab them before they’re gone!
FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEER DAY - Trinity helps at Restoration Ministries! Our Sunday School group will be going to Restoration Ministries (235 E. 159th St, Harvey, IL) to volunteer at their food pantry BUT everyone at Trinity is invited! Please join us on Saturday, October 11th from 8:30am-12:00pm RSVP REQUIRED. Lunch provided by Trinity to follow at Aurelio's Pizza in Homewood. RSVP HERE! Dear Trinity Members,
Thank you very much for your generous support of the Lions Club International Recycle Eyeglasses project. The box in the Gathering Place was filled and 29 pairs of used glasses and sunglasses were delivered to Advanced Eye Care Professionals, Oak Lawn, which serves as a collection site for this Lions - sponsored program. Thank you again for your generosity! A new box has been set up in the Gathering Place to accept more used eyeglass donations!

FOURTH QUARTER MISSION OPPORTUNITIES
The fourth quarter missions theme is "Feeding/Caring." From October-December you will have the opportunity to make monetary contributions to ELCA World Hunger and Beds+. In October we will collect unexpired non-perishable food items for Pilgrim Faith Food Pantry. In November the Women of the Church will sponsor the ELCA Thank offering and Bethshan Christmas gifts. Instructions for making envelope and online contributions will be in future announcements. Watch for information about collecting items for the food pantry and Bethshan. Thank you for your continued support!
