ALL SAINTS SUNDAY at TRINITY – November 2nd is All Saints Sunday, a time for us to remember all the saints that have gone before us in the last year. Please email the church office at office@trinityol.org to share the name(s) of those Trinity members and/or loved ones you would like to remember that have died since November 3, 2024. We ask that you contact us by October 26 to ensure we have all information together. A candle will be lit on November 2nd in memory and there will also be time in prayer, when each of the saints/ loved ones, will be remembered by name.
FUNDRAISER FOR CHLOE SMITH- Trinity’s own Chloe Smith has been chosen to represent Spirit of America Productions and Xperience Cheer in Rome, Italy, for the Rome New Year’s Day Parade on January 1, 2026. FREE LITTLE LIBRARY - Good news! The Free Little Library outside the auditorium entrance has been refreshed and given some much-needed TLC. Many thanks to Tom Jareczek and Gene Mondello for their time and care in giving it a great facelift. Stop by to check it out...grab a book, or leave one to share. Let's spread the gift of reading! Trinity received news that former member, Nancy Justus Stevens passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Nancy’s funeral service is scheduled for Friday, October 24th at 11am, here at Trinity. Please keep Nancy’s family and friends, especially her daughter Jessica, in your thoughts and prayers.
DIVINE DOLLARS REMINDER
Just a reminder that our Divine Dollars gift card program will be ending on 12/31/25. We are selling all cards currently in our inventory and all proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund. Grab an order form from the Gathering Desk or from the "More for Announcements" attachment …complete it and place in the mailbox by the office, along with payment (cash or check). Your order will be filled by the following weekend. First come. First served, while supplies last.
FOURTH QUARTER MISSION OPPORTUNITIES
The Fourth Quarter Missions theme is "Feeding/Caring." From October-December you will have the opportunity to make monetary contributions to ELCA World Hunger and Beds+ Please use “Special Offering” envelopes and designate the specific mission OR CLICK HERE to give online. Click “FUND” and then “MISSIONS” and select the one you'd like to support.
During the month of October we will also sponsor a food collection for unexpired non-perishable food items for Pilgrim Faith Church Food Pantry. Please see below for the specefic items needed.
In November the Women of the Church will sponsor the ELCA Thank offering and Bethshan Christmas gifts - more info to come later. Thank you for your continued support!
PILGRIM CHURCH FOOD PANTRY WISH LIST - Matthew 25:35 states “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave medrink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” As a way of living out this message our October mission project will be to collect food items that provide nourishment for people who do nothave a way to cook or store food. Please help our neighbors who are in need by bringing items from the following list to the Gathering Place. Thank you for supporting this very important ministry.
