WE WORSHIP TOGETHER
Worship Times: Saturday at 5:30pm and Sunday at 10:30 am
This Week’s Bible Readings: 2 Samuel 7:1-17, Psalm 119:49-56, Luke 1:30-33
This Weekend: “God’s Promise to David”
Join us for worship… King David wanted to build a temple for the Ark of the Covenant to stay in—which meant it would be where God lived. But God didn’t want David to build him a temple. Instead, he said he would make David (and his offspring for all time) his temple.

WAYS TO GIVE THIS FALL AT TRINITY
COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES - Each year, Trinity sends our college students care packages before their 1st semester final exams. Included are decorated cards with encouraging words from our Sunday School students. We are asking for donations of small toiletry items (pocket tissues, pocket-size hand sanitizers, etc.), candy/gum, or microwave popcorn. We also hope to include small gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks) for each student, so we would appreciate monetary donations to purchase the gift cards and help with shipping costs. We hope to send to 16 students. Please bring your donations to the gathering desk until November 24th. Thank you for your help with this important ministry. Lynn Jareczek (708-826-0055)
TIME & TALENTS – There are many volunteer opportunities at Trinity Lutheran Church. Intact Family Services (IFS) is a program that supports and strengthens families while also monitoring safety and well being of all minors in the home. Case managers work with families to engage them in appropriate services, assure all minors medical, developmental, and emotional needs are met, and work towards goals of successful closure.
Current statistics:
Current open cases: 179 families
FY24 successful case closures: 62
Primary age of head of household: 25-34 49% | 35-44 39%
Primary Ethnicity: White 29% | African American | 32% Hispanic 24%
Primary Gender: Female 92%

Annual Household Income: Less than $5000 100%
Trinity Lutheran has been invited to serve 25 Intact families living in our area with a gift of a Thanksgiving dinner basket. Our congregation will donate food and then our Confirmation class will organize and pack these baskets. Volunteers will be recruited to deliver the meal baskets to local Intact families.
