SUNDAY SCHOOL & CONFIRMATION – Meet on Sundays from 9:30am-10:15am. 

 

ATTENTION CONFIRMATION FAMILIES - Important Update for Thanksgiving Food Drive: This Sunday, our Confirmation Class will be helping pack Thanksgiving food baskets to share with families through LSSI. To allow time for packing, we ask that all confirmation students arrive early this Sunday, November 16th at 9:00AM instead of the usual time. Thank you for supporting this meaningful service project!

SUNDAY SCHOOL SINGS!  Next Sunday, November 23rd our Sunday School children will sing during our 10:30am service.  We can’t wait…see you there! 

MARK YOUR CALENDARS –Join us Sunday, December 14th  to see our students and teachers perform a short Nativity play together with the congregation as part of the 10:30AM worship service.  Christmas fellowship to follow with milk and cookies!  All are invited!

ANNOUNCEMENT of CONGREGATIONAL MEETING to ELECT 2026 COUNCIL MEMBERS 

Per our Constitution, Council elections must be held in October or November every year. The 2026 Council elections will take place at the congregational meeting scheduled for this Sunday, November 16, 2025, directly following worship. This year’s nominating committee [Paul Enderle, Jobey Hendel, Craig Lanigan, Sue Phelan, Kurt Staehlin and Donna Symanski] - presents the following slate of candidates for election:

NEED TO KNOW

BETHSHAN CHRISTMAS PROJECT- Just a reminder that the Women of the Church are once again collecting gifts for the Bethshan House. There are a few tags left!  You can find them in the Gathering Place…take a tag and follow the directions on the attached sheet.  Gifts are due back to Trinity by Sunday, November 23.  The instructions are included in the "More for Announcements" attachment this week.  Thank you for sharing the love of Christ through your generosity.   ~ Women of the Church  

 

NEW CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS  - It’s been nearly 30 years since we purchased new Christmas wreaths and garlands, and we’re excited to refresh our decorations for the season! If you’d like to help with the cost, please place your contribution in an envelope marked Christmas Decorations and leave it in the offering plate or in the basket in the Gathering Place near the wreath and garland boxes. Thank you for your generosity and for helping make our church beautiful for Christmas. If you have any questions, please contact the church office. 

 

DECK THE HALLS WITH US!  It’s almost time to decorate! Join us Saturday, November 29 at 9:00 AM as we add festive touches and prepare our church for the Christmas season. Come ready to spread some cheer — many hands make light (and joyful!) work!

FOURTH QUARTER MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

The Fourth Quarter Missions theme is "Feeding/Caring." From now through December you will have the opportunity to make monetary contributions to ELCA World Hunger and Beds+  Please use “Special Offering” envelopes and designate the specific mission OR  CLICK HERE  to give online.  Click “FUND” and then “MISSIONS” and  "SUB FUND" and then select the one you'd like to support.  

 

PILGRIM CHURCH FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION UPDATE-  Thank you to everyone who donated to our Pilgrim Church Food Pantry collection! Thanks to our generous Trinity family, 243 items are on their way to help those in need. Your kindness and care will help bring comfort and nourishment to many this season!

 

WOMEN OF THE CHURCH ELCA THANKOFFERING - Throughout the month of November, the Women of the Church will be collecting Thankofferings to show gratitude for God's blessings which gives the women of Trinity a tangible way to express thanks. To participate, please use the purple edged envelopes in the pews marked "ELCA Thankoffering" and place it in the collection plate at the Offertory OR wait until November 23rd and place it in the special offering baskets at the front of the sanctuary. FUNDRAISER FOR CHLOE SMITH- Trinity’s own Chloe Smith has been chosen to represent Spirit of America Productions and Xperience Cheer in Rome, Italy, for the Rome New Year’s Day Parade on January 1, 2026. She was one of only 115 athletes across the nation to receive this award.
