Here’s what’s happening this week at Trinity!
Worship-
Worship Times: Saturday at 5:30 pm & Sunday at 8:30 am and 11:00am
This Sunday: Fifth Sunday in Lent
Lectionary Readings Jeremiah 31:31-34, Psalm 119:9-16, Hebrews 5:5-10, John 12:20-33
Wednesdays during Lent: Join us for our last Soup Supper of the season in the Auditorium beginning at 6 pm followed by Holden Evening Prayer in the Sanctuary at 7pm
Christian Education-
Youth and Sunday School – - Classes will be held at 9:45am
Confirmation Class – Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Enter through the library entrance and meet in the church. Classes will be held in the youth loft.
Registration – Sunday School, Confirmation and Triniteens registration is still on going and open. Please visit our website for more information and to register.
Sharing – Food - Faith – Fun
JUST A REMINDER - Rachel Circle will NOT meet this month. Please plan to join us Tuesday April 16th, for our next Women’s Bible Study.
SENIORS OUTING – Wednesday, March 20th to Jacob Henry Mansion for lunch and entertainment. Contact Linda Bensen (708-702-7026) with questions.
Accepting donations this week for our MISSION of the MONTH- The March Mission of the Month is Lutheran Social Services. You can contribute using the pew envelopes or online by clicking on additional giving.
HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE – Mark your calendars and please join us…
Palm Sunday – Regularly scheduled services on Saturday March 23rd (5:30pm) and Sunday March 24th (8:30am & 11:00am)
Maundy Thursday – March 28th at 7pm. Full liturgy with communion that concludes with stripping of the altar.
Good Friday- March 29th at 7pm. Prayer around the cross
Holy Saturday – March 30th at 5:30pm
Resurrection of our Lord – March 31st at 8:30am & 11:00am
