MISSIONS FOR JULY, AUGUST & SEPTEMBER 2025
The third quarter missions emphasis will be EDUCATION. The following missions/funds will be available for your generous contributions:
SCHOLARSHIPS ----- COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES --- CHRISTIAN EDUCATION (specifically SUNDAY SCHOOL, CONFIRMATION RETREAT and ADULT EDUCATION)
You are invited to donate to as many as you wish between July 1 and September 30. Please use “Special Offering” envelopes and designate the specific mission.OR CLICK HERE to give online. Click “FUND” and then “MISSIONS” and select the mission you'd like to support. Thank you and God bless you for your generosity.
Here's some info about CHRISTIAN EDUCATION at Trinity.
SUNDAY SCHOOL- Our Sunday School meets from September thru May. Donations will help to cover the cost of curriculum materials. It will also be used towards Bibles for the children. As children move up, every other grade, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade, they receive an age appropriate Bible and tote bag.
CONFIRMATION - Donations for Confirmation students will help these students also receive new Bibles in 7th grade. Donations will also help defray the cost of the Confirmation retreat weekend held at Lutherdale.
ADULT EDUCATION - Christian education is not limited to Sunday School and Confirmation instruction and Bible Study. Adult education is essential to strengthening faith throughout the lives of God’s people. It is a means of learning how to share God’s love, of developing a deeper understanding of how faith has sustained and nourished our ancestors, and of guiding us to follow Jesus’ example of serving others. Contributions to this fund will provide resources to engage educators who can help us better understand our role as Lutheran Christians in our world today.

BUILDING UPDATES – Great news…the construction and remodeling of the two bathrooms near the church office is finished! Be sure to check them out. Also the Library door key fob reader has been fixed as well. If you do experience a problem with any of the key fob readers, we ask you let the office know. Thank you!
CALL COMMITTEE UPDATES
The Call Committee has been meeting over the last few weeks in preparation for the upcoming pastoral candidate interviews. The committee met separately with Pastor Sunitha and Pastor Kathy from the Synod office to receive implicit bias training and guidance on the interview process.The committee also met on 7/2 to develop the interview questions for the initial set of interviews. Please pray for the committee as they approach this important and exciting process.

DEEPEST SYMPATHIES
Nancy Billows' mother, Janet Billows passed away on June 23, 2025. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 8:30am- 9:30am at Trinity with the funeral beginning promptly at 9:30am. May God's strength carry Nancy and all of her family through this difficult time.
