WEATHER ADVISORY - SUNDAY SERVICE
We are hoping to see everyone as usual at our Sunday morning service...however, with the forecast calling for heavy snowfall, we want to ensure everyone stays safe IF the predicted weather arrives. So please note, IF a cancellation becomes necessary, we will post an updated message on our homepage at www.trinityol.org and on our church voicemail. Please check our website or call (708) 422-0193 on Sunday morning. If there is no cancellation message posted, then service will be held as planned. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our Trinity family safe.

TEMPLE TALKS –If you were in church a few weeks ago, you were lucky enough to hear Tom Ollenburger give a Temple Talk and now we invite you to join us this Sunday, November 30th for another one, but this time given by Jim Scheibel. Thank you to both Tom and Jim! As we focus on stewardship, we give thanks for the many ways our church family serves, gives and supports our ministries. It’s a beautiful reminder of God’s generosity working through all of us.
ADVENT CANDLE LIGHTING - As a Christian tradition, we will light the candles of the Advent wreath at the beginning of worship. One candle is lit each Sunday. This week we thank the Mizutowich/Cole Family for lighting the first candle. The candles also represent Jesus coming as the light in darkness. As Christmas draws nearer, each candle brings a little more light into the darkness. We will light the fifth candle on Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of Jesus and give thanks to God that Love came down at Christmas, God in the Flesh, Emmanuel. Thanks be to God!

CHRISTMAS READING (“More for Announcements” Attachment)
From Genesis to Revelation, every verse reminds us: God keeps His promises. Light breaks into darkness. Hope has a name — Jesus.
This plan walks through:
• The first hint of redemption
• Prophecies of the coming Messiah
• The humble glory of His birth
• The worship of shepherds and wise men
• The majesty of the King who will come again
As you read each passage, let the Word steady your heart, quiet your mind, and stir fresh wonder. May this month be more than reading - may it be remembering Reflecting. Returning. The King has come. And because He came, hope is never out of reach. May this Christmas season be gentle to you, and may you truly be able to say, "O come let us adore Him.”
