This Weekend: Christ the King Sunday / God Promises a New Covenant
Join us for worship… This Sunday is Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday of the liturgical year. The congregation is invited to bring their Stewardship commitment cards forward along with this year's Women Thankofferings during the Offertory. This Sunday is a reminder that in the Kingdom of God, the last shall be first and the first shall be last. Come remember the kind of king Jesus is - humble, merciful, and servant-hearted.

POINSETTIA PLANTS - Poinsettia plants may once again be ordered through the church office to beautify the altar during the Christmas season. They are $16 each and you can order them in memory or honor of loved ones. New this year...choose red, pink or white poinsettias. You are welcome to take the plants home with you after the Christmas Day service. Orders are due December 8th. SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM – This year’s Sunday School Program will take place during our 10:30am worship service on December 15th with a Potluck lunch to follow.
RACHEL CIRCLE – Cathy and Linda invite you to a Rachel Circle Christmas at their new home -13762 Steeples Road, Lemont, IL 60439 - on Wednesday, December 18th, starting at 6:30pm. Feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share. All are welcome and a carpool will be coordinated!
YOUTH MINISTRIES
CONFIRMATION & HIGHSCHOOLERS - We will be preparing for the Christmas Program which will look a little different this year but will still have all of the parts we have loved for years. Please make a point of attending on Sundays so we can practice before the program on December 15th.

IN OUR COMMUNITY
CHRISTMASTIDE at TCC - The Trinity Christian College Music Department presents its Christmastide performance December 7 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ozinga Chapel auditorium. This annual Advent and Christmas concert includes performances by Trinity’s student ensembles and music faculty. The performance will last just over a hour and be followed by a reception in the lobby. There will be no intermission.
This year’s theme is “Glory to the Newborn King,” as we joyfully celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Choral performances will be by the Concert Choir, Gospel Choir, and Honors Ensemble. Instrumental performances will be by the Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, and String Ensemble, as well as music faculty and Trinity's own Jared and Elyssa Peters.
The audience will also be invited to join in singing three favorite carols of the season led by organ and brass. Come early to hear piano versions of Christmas carols in the Grand Lobby. And join us afterward for Christmas cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate.
