This Weekend: THE FOURTH SUNDAY IN LENT everything [in]between lost found

Join Us for Worship… Herding sheep is a never-ending task. As soon as one is found, another may go missing. Our lives have a similar ebb and flow—in one moment we might feel like we have it all together, and in the next, we’re struggling to survive. The promise of this parable is that no matter how “lost” we feel, the Good Shepherd is by our side. Come hear the Good News!

LENTEN RESOURCES

GOOD ENOUGH

Good Enough is a 40-ish Day Devotional by Kate Bowler and Jessica Riche that is written with compassion, intelligence, and wisdom for reflecting and learning to live with our imperfections in a culture of self-help that promotes endless programs.  This book has gentle humor and grants permission to all those who need to hear that there are some things you just can’t fix - and some you can! You can purchase it where you buy books.

THE BOOK OF DELIGHTS

Written by poet Ross Gay, The Book of Delights is about our shared bonds, and the rewards that come from a life closely observed. These remarkable pieces serve as a powerful and necessary reminder that we can, and should, stake out a space in our lives for delight.

DEVOTIONAL BOOKLET

Beginning with Ash Wednesday, this weekly devotional follows the scriptures of the Everything In Between series through Easter Sunday. Each week offers: commentary, poetry, visual art, written reflections, hymns, and reflection prompts. Pick up your copy at the Welcome Desk along with a few other resources as well.

GOD PAUSE - a daily email devotional from the alumni at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Click here to sign up: https://www.luthersem.edu/godpause/

THE DAILY MEDITATIONS

The Daily Meditations are email reflections featuring Richard Rohr and the Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) faculty, as well as guest teachers and authors, reflecting on the wisdom and practices of the Christian contemplative tradition. We hope these meditations will help deepen prayer practice and strengthen compassionate engagement in the world.

LUTHERDALE SUMMER CAMP  2025

Trinity has a long history with Lutherdale, a Lutheran Bible Camp, of over 20 years. Lutherdale is offering a Mini-Mash up camp option this summer; the dates are August 3-6th. This camp is open to students who have completed 1st-8th grade. Students will be in age appropriate groups for the camp. If we can get a group who wants to go we can take the bus with the kids there and back with the strong possibility of me accompanying them for the 4 days so they will have a familiar adult face while they are away from home.

Lutherdale is located in Elkhorn, WI just north of Lake Geneva, about 2 hours from Trinity. The cost for the trip will be about $250/camper. This is a great time to introduce our students to the Lutherdale experience and allow them to get a sneak peak of where they will be heading for Confirmation Retreats. Both of my older kids went to Lutherdale for summer camp and Confirmation camp and have wonderful memories of time spent there. You can find more information here: https://www.lutherdale.org/full-week-overnight-programs

Please note we don't have a lot of time to decide as they are already taking reservations, so please let us know ASAP!  Contact youthdirector@trinityol.org or 743.888.5022 for more information or with questions.

SUNDAY SCHOOL FAMILIES, WE NEED YOU!

Trinity is hosting a Craft Fair on April 5th. Did youknow that any money raised with vendor fees/food sales will be donated to the Trinity SS/Youth? How cool is that!? To ensure a successful event, we need the help of our Sunday School students and families. We hope you will consider spending an hour or 2 with us on the 5th helping out. We will have many places to volunteer- raffle table, greeter, kitchen, vendor hospitality before, during and after the event. It’s a great way to spend time with family and learn about volunteering with Trinity.  There are many places to volunteer- raffle table, greeter, kitchen, vendor hospitality…before, during and after the event.
