WE WORSHIP TOGETHER

Worship Time: Sunday at 10:30am

This Weekend’s Readings: Exodus 34-29-35, Psalm 99, 2 Corinthians 3:12-42, Luke 9:28-43a

This Weekend: Transfiguration Sunday

Join Us for Worship Mountaintop moments! Jesus goes up the mountain to pray and is transformed during his prayer. His disciple, Peter, wants to stay in that moment of glory, but they must come back down; back to ministry, back to the crowds, and back to the pain in the world.  Come join us as we connect the dots between God's presence in glory & God's presence in our world.

One more thing…Our school age youth have been practicing with joy and excitement and are ready to share their music with us in worship Sunday!  We can’t wait to see you there!!

REMINDERS – PLEASE WEAR YOUR NAME TAG ON SUNDAY MORNINGS and PLAN TO ATTEND THE CONGREGATIONAL MEETING IMMEDIATELY AFTER WORSHIP on 3/2!

MISSION STATEMENT

Trinity Church Council is excited to unveil our proposed mission and vision statements. We believe that this slight change in our mission statement better describes our church. Our new vision statements come from year-long conversations that articulate our core values and will be a guide for our future as we strive to live out our mission; To live the love of Christ.  Please see the "Mission Statement" attachment or the printed announcements available at church on Sunday.

LENT AT TRINITY - EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

This year, we’re letting the Gospel of Luke guide us through Lent. Beginning with Jesus setting his face toward Jerusalem (Luke 9:51), this worship series flows through several familiar stories—the Good Samaritan, Mary and Martha, the fruitless fig tree, the Lost Sheep, Zacchaeus, and more. Many of these stories are well-known in both sacred and secular imagination and hold significance in pop culture, church history, politics, and everything in between.

Our theme, “Everything In Between,” invites us to navigate the polarities in our lives with more faith, intention, and openness to be transformed. You will see that each weekly sub-theme explores two supposed binaries, like “faith & works” or “rest & growth,” or “grief & hope.” We often consider these ideas to be opposing. However, as we explore these concepts within the scriptures, we find nuance and complexity. We find that these dichotomies are false. We might begin to see a full spectrum instead of black and white. We might find that God is present in between.   And so, this season, we invite you to join us for fellowship, worship and prayer as we explore everything in between.  A Lenten Devotional (ONE per household) will be available as you enter church.  Check out the "More for Announcements" attachment (or printed announcements) for more details including a schedule of our Wednesday Night Lenten Meals.

YOU’RE INVITED …

Join us for our First Communion Class as we prepare for this important faith milestone. This instruction is an essential part of the journey toward receiving Holy Communion.  Class date is April 6th following worship -- Parents/guardians are expected to attend.

First Communion Date – April 12th @ 10:30am    Please contact the office if you are interested in registering no later than March 31st.
