RALLY DAY is almost here! Join us Sunday, September 7th beginning with Sunday School teacher installation during worship and our Rally Day Picnic right after which will include hot dogs hamburgers, games and activities. DIVINE DOLLARS - After 16 years of fundraising, our Divine Dollars gift card program will be coming to an end on 12/31/25. We will not be placing any additional orders but will be selling our current inventory of gift cards. These can be used for birthdays, Christmas, etc. All proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund. If interested in purchasing cards, please complete an order form (see attachment or check the Gathering Place desk) and place in the mailbox by the office, along with your payment (cash or check). Your order will be filled by the following weekend. First come, first serve…while supplies last. Thank you for your support.
CONNECTION CARDS ARE BACK! We’re happy to have Connection Cards available in the pews again! These cards are a great way to communicate with the church office whether you have questions, need information, or would like to share a prayer request. PLEASE NOTE... Connection Cards are no longer used for attendance, so there’s no need to fill one out unless you have something to share AND Prayer requests will remain on the prayer list for four weeks, unless you let us know otherwise. So, there is no need to submit a card every week for the same request.
WITH SYMPATHY AND PRAYER - It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our sister in Christ, Marce Schultz. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn, from 3pm-8pm. The funeral will be at 10am at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday, September 3rd with visitation before, from 9am-10am, Please keep Marce’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.
